I had been having issues with getting my licence transferred from nsw to the act (its hard for me to prove where I live since my name is not on a lease and I don’t have any bills in my name yet)
I had been beating my head against a brick wall for a couple of weeks until I posted on the riot act. within hours I got a call from someone from either the ministers office or from within the motor registry. they were very helpful and got the issue sorted straight away
had my good friend chris chinchilla in town for the weekend. great to hang out with him
went and saw my dear dad and uncle in young
went and helped my buddy jac do some chalking today. fun times
on my way to do some shopping on my bike this afternoon I saw this group of cyclists. “come and join us” they said. we rode to a street that had some amazing sculpture in peoples front yards and ended up in a backyard drinking beer and playing cricket. “goodbye friend” one of them shouted while waving as I left to continue shopping
been hanging out at a new cool cycle project, cyclejam.org jac, one of the mechanics is a cool guy
went for a ride with pedal power yesterday. great group! they really know their bike paths
been taking lots of pics of my commute to work in the morning. takes me 10 mins to get to work
I’m moving to canberra! went and looked at some places to live. caught up my auntie tiday, dad and uncle bob. great to see them all. happy community day!
spent some time riding around canberra. saw some amazing cycling infrastructure. I think I’m going to live it there…
