just started to read shantaram. I read so slowly! draws you in from page one. thanks to my italian friend james for recommending

ride for love (fundraiser for the wayside chapel)
yesterday I organised a “ride for love” chocolate ride around the city. we went to 3 chocolate cafes and raised $87.25 for the wayside chapel. great day, I hope to do it again soon…

yesterday I did the “try 2 wheels” that is offered to new cyclists by sydney city council via bikewise. interesting half day course, I liked how they gave emphasis on participants feeling like they have rights on the road

I have recently changed my operating system from ubuntu 12.04 to xubuntu 12.04. ubuntu was too slow on my old P4. amazing what a difference a lightweight windows manager makes on an older machine. I get all the benefits of a new OS on an older machine. Great that canonicial supports so many flavours of awesome
