just started to read shantaram. I read so slowly! draws you in from page one. thanks to my italian friend james for recommending

So begins this epic, mesmerizing first novel set in the underworld of contemporary Bombay. Shantaram is narrated by Lin, an escaped convict with a false passport who flees maximum security prison in Australia for the teeming streets of a city where he can disappear.
ride for love (fundraiser for the wayside chapel)
yesterday I organised a “ride for love” chocolate ride around the city. we went to 3 chocolate cafes and raised $87.25 for the wayside chapel. great day, I hope to do it again soon…
